Dear Mr. President,
On November 16-n, 2010 a press conference dedicated to the closing ceremony of the Year of Russia in France held in the Elysee Palace. It showed a huge interest to the case of Russian-French girl, Maria Zakharova-Ouary. Masha resides in France and for 12-years already is separated from her mom. Thanks to mass media and TV, this story again became available to millions of people. And now all of them, with hope, love and pray, are waiting impatiently for the resolution of this girl destiny.
On behalf of Russian communities of USA, Canada, and European countries and on behalf of the Honorable Members of the Ethical & Human Rights Watching Committee «RAY» and its site readers, and also on behalf of members of international human rights watch organizations – we appeal to you with our joint and kind request.
Please, help Masha to be happy in this Christmas! Let her to spend her Christmas vacation in Moscow with her mother, Ms. Natalia Zakharova, with her grandmother and Family. Natalia Zskharova is a well known social activist and talented actress, who unfortunately was separated forcibly from her single and beloved daughter in 1997.
In the eve of the most lightened and joyful family celebration, when our Savior was born for all people in the world, we appeal namely to you with this request of humane understanding and support of suffering Zakharov’s family, who are separated from each other for many years. Who but you, a father of a big family, having sons Pierre, Jean, Louis (of Masha’s age) and daughters Judith and Jean-Mary, can understand our request? And who, but you, a lawyer, specialist in French jurisprudence, can understand this dramatic judicial situation?
Masha and her mom love each other and want to be together. Please, help them to rejoin together! On October 5, 2010, Russian court in Moscow after careful investigation of live conditions and personality of Natalia Zakharova reestablished her parental rights which were denied in France by an absurd and judicially incorrect charge which does not correspond to the reality (a copy of this verdict was submitted to the Ministry of Justice of France).
Masha also is fighting for her native right to be with her mom. She did not sign a denial claim against her mom, which her father, Mr. Patrick Ouary, attempted to get from her (this fact is known to the court and orphans organizations). Masha many times expressed her will and her strong wish to come to Russia. We have her letters, SMS’s, and poems dedicated to her mom, where one clearly can see all love of this child to her dear and unique mom.
Mr. President, we all know you as a consistent defender of the great achievements of French Enlightenment and Humanism in the world. You are always staying as independent politician, who acts decisively in interests of your country and people. You personal courage shown many times in extreme situations is well-known!
In 1993 you heroically saved 21 little children in Neuilly-sur-Seine. In November of 2007 three French journalists and four Spanish hostesses were saved thanks to you. In 2008 you saved habitants of Tskhinval and South Ossetia; thanks to you a severe war threat against civilians was stopped and a large international conflict was prevented.
During the years of your presidency we observe these and many other examples of your loyalty and sincere love to people, not only to your compatriots. A real kindness, compassion to people and loyalty became a special trademark of your presidency. We are sure that many of your actions and decisions will be recorded to the history of modern international politics.
Today the solution of the long and not needed for our countries conflict is namely at your disposal. We kindly request you to turn into that wonderful «Santa Clause» for Masha Zakharova-Ouary, who will finally make her wish come true. This wish is to meet her mom and Family. We are positive that with your powerful help this miracle is possible.
Let make this Christmas-2010 unforgettable for them and for all of us! Not only because of long time of suffering, fighting and separation, but also because they are wonderful and beautiful ladies and do deserve it. Let in the New Year all bad things for Zakharov’s family will be in the past.
From all our hearts we hope that you will respond to our request and help Masha to hug her mom and sick grandmother, so this girl as well as many French children will be thankful to you for the attention and compassion and remember your unique role in her destiny for the rest of her life. We do love what you said in your interview to the «Famille Chrétienne» on April 21 – 2007 : «Christianity was a witness of the birth of the French Nation» and left «a huge heritage of cultural, moral, intellectual, and spiritual values».
Exactly the same we can say about of Russian History. We hope that you will follow your own great wording and let Masha to be a good Christian girl in her a good Christian Family.
Using this opportunity, we also glad to inform you that the Ethical & Human Rights Watching Committee «RAY», Washington D.C., USA, intends to nominate you as a candidate for international Royal Spear Award which is grants for social and scientific activists for outstanding contribution to international ethical progress and achievements in History, Culture, and Science.
